CS013 This guitar is another OM model which was commissioned by Debora Greathouse. Yes Jerald's sister. Thank you for yor support . Like Jerald's guitar, all the elements , materials and design was chosen by Debora. The back and side wood is Black Walnut. The back of this guitar has an interesting grain pattern. I believe this tree was grafted to another trunk and this is a section of the graft. There is a distinct line in the grain in an upward V pattern starting at about the waist near the edges and pointing upward toward the neck. My pictures dont do it justice but it is unusual to say the least and very striking. The binding, end graft and back strip of this guitar are curly maple. The neck is laminated cherry, and maple The fingerboard and bridge are Pau Ferro. The rosette is cocobolo rosewood and black abalone pearl. Debora's mother collects eagle figurines so the Eagle inlay work is a tribute to her. This guitar is equipped with a Fishman Ellipse pickup with controls accessible through the soundhole. The Greathouse "G" is inlaid in Ebony and pearl on the neck heelcap.
