CS012 This guitar is being built to be one of the prizes for Robin Kessinger's flatpicking contest in October 2011. The contest was originally scheduled for May and was moved to October. The completion of this guitar has also been moved accordingly. It is made from African Wenge back and Sides, Lutz spruce top , curly maple binding, end graft and back strip, and a mahogany and maple laminated neck. The inlay is all my own design and in keeping with the mountain man rendezvous theme of Robin's festival, I tried to incorporate natural elements into the inlay. There is copper and torquiose in the rosette and in the fingerboard inlay.
