CS003 This is the first guitar I built with 'storebought' wood. Up to this point I had resawn all the wood I used for backs and sides myself from material I already had in my shop. The back and sides are Claro walnut, top is Englemann spruce. The neck is carved from laminated Spanish Cedar with Bloodwood and Maple. Fingerboard and bridge are Indian rosewood. Headstock and fingerboard are inlaid with green paua abalone. The binding is bloodwood and the fingerboard is also bound with bloodwood. This guitar I traded for a Taylor guitar.
