CS001 This is my first guitar. The wood to make this guitar was given to me by a friend who owns a sawmill and kiln. I was using it to make Christmas presents for members of my family one year and while working with it I thought it had such nice figure and grain that it would make a pretty guitar. I had never made a guitar before but this was the beginning of a wonderful hobby for me. This guitar and also my second guitar were both made with primitive homemade tools and what knowledge I could gather from the internet. It has a quartersawn sycamore front, back, and sides. Herringbone soundhole rosette and purfling. Zig Zag backstrip. Maple neck with rosewood fingerboard. The logo inlaid on the headstock is plastic taken from a broken drawer from an old refrigerator. As I have upgraded my tools, the quality of woods I use, and my knowledge of Luthiery my quality has improved. I hope that you think so as well .
